In school, we have homework and quizzes after lessons to make sure the material sunk in. But in the adult world, we frequently find ourselves learning new things that we don’t get the chance to practice as much as we’d like.
In some ways, technical conferences are like classes for grown-ups: they provide a great opportunity to learn a lot, connect with like-minded folks and brainstorm ideas. #ChefConf 2013 will be one such conference -- filled with inspiring sessions and examples of amazing work being done with Chef.
So rather than just send everybody home when it’s over, #ChefConf is giving attendees the opportunity to take all that new knowledge and enthusiasm and put it into practice at the Post-#ChefConf Hack Day. We thought it was a great idea and are excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Chef and Boundary to help make it happen!
We’ll be hosting this event at Joyent on Saturday, April 27 from 10AM-4PM. This Hack Day is free, but you must register in advance.
We know this year’s #ChefConf is going to be amazing. From the workshops that start on Wednesday to the Hack Day on Saturday, attendees are in for four days of automation awesomeness. We can’t wait to see you there!
