If you’re looking to build real-time apps in the browser, WebRTC may be one open source API you want to look into. It was open sourced by Google in 2010 and is putting a real-time communications media engine into the browser and enabling browsers to do real-time communications.
You’ll have the chance to explore this technology further at WebRTC World, which will take place June 25-27 in Atlanta. We’ll be there, along with more than 22 new start-ups. We’ll also be speaking on Thursday, June 27 on why Node.js, Mongo and WebRTC make a strong technology stack. Plus if you use the promo code “JOY” when you register, you'll get 30% off the conference rate! And then, while you’re there, come visit our booth!
