I Wish Tim O’Reilly Was My Dad

I was reading the comments under David’s Shaking up tech publishing post on his weblog and came away really really impressed by Tim O’Reilly.

[And no, while biologically old enough to have spawned me, he would have had to have taken care of that business while starting high school.]

I agree. Mr. O’Reilly’s comments were great, and the (semi-)debate between he and David was very informative. There are some unfortunately trolly comments on there as well, though.

The response seems a little strong given the slight provocation, but I’m complimented nonetheless. For more, see either http://radar.oreilly.com or http://tim.oreilly.com. With more exposure, you might change your mind :-) (Although my actual kids do still like me.)
