The Workspace is a place where you can view selected groups (list view) from any application:
We noticed many users don't have their Workspace set up. It's part of the Connect application. The Workspace is your dashboard, your hub, bringing together the information you want close at hand, and that is most important to you. It's similar to an RSS reader, in that it consolidates the sources you refer to regularly.
Workspace brings together a read-only list view of any groups - your default, standard, or smart groups, and any other user's public groups. For instance, you might include your calendar, your unread messages, your work-related notifications, and your to-do List. Whether you're a single user or working collaboratively with others, this feature can help you be organized, efficient, and get the most value out of the information you've entered in Connector.
