MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA – March 13, 2008: Expands Social Networking partnerships by providing free Accelerators optimized for the Open Social platform.

The Company’s product portfolio includes some of the world’s most popular and widely recognized software brands including CorelDRAW® Graphics Suite, Corel® Paint Shop Pro®, Corel® Painter™, Corel DESIGNER®, Corel® WordPerfect® Office, WinZip® and iGrafx®.

In February 2007, Joyent and Corel joined forces to provide a bridge between PC-based productivity tools and the Web with the announcement of Corel’s WordPerfect Lightning product. Each WordPerfect Lightning product user will receive a Joyent Connector account with two users and 200MB of storage which brings access to group email, calendar, address books, file storage, and bookmarks, all over the Web, to the Corel product and enables teams to easily share items with other members of their team.

And, Joyent’s Connector will be delivered to Corel’s customers on Joyent’s pioneering Accelerator virtualization platform which will allow the partnership to serve millions of customers.
