Data Center Installation
To ensure your success, Joyent technical staff will provide onsite assistance with the installation, set-up, and configuration of your hardware environment. Joyent experts will also optimize the performance and availability of your Joyent SmartDataCenter installation.
Data Center Installation includes:
- Reference architecture review
- Procurement assistance
- Hardware compatibility certification
- Installation of server hardware, rack equipment, and cabling
- Configuration of the core network and switches
- Configuration of servers (i.e., BIOS installation, RAID configuration)
- Configuration of shared storage
- Burn-in testing
Software Installation
Joyent will provide the onsite software installation of Joyent SmartDataCenter and related components, including:
- Hardware validation and readiness
- Installation of Head Node
- Installation of supporting Compute Nodes
- Verification of core functionality and operation
- Troubleshooting and remediation
