Joyent is looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist, who has experience in Global Datacenters. Joyent, Inc. is a high-performance cloud infrastructure company built to power real-time web and mobile applications. We are currently seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist who will work with the IT Asset Manager on building out and maintaining a sustainable IT asset management capability across Joyent. The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for the monitoring and execution of asset management processes and procedures to ensure a compliant and optimized IT hardware and software environment. Responsibilities include managing IT assets throughout the lifecycle including tracking, purchasing, shipping, receiving, and exception follow-up to resolve issues. This role drives standardization of asset management best practices and collaborates with DC Ops, Finance, and business stakeholders to bring new assets into the Datacenter.
