Voxer Hard(ware) Hack 2012

Voxer is a local San Francisco startup that is doing some really cool things with social and mobile communication; bringing the walkie talkie to the smartphone. One of the things we love about Voxer is they are big supporters of Node.js and the open source community. We just worked with the Voxer team during the Node Knockout hackathon, so we were thrilled when we heard they are hosting a Node.js hackathon of their own! During the weekend of December 8-9, Voxer is hosting Hard Hack, a Node.js hardware hacking weekend at their awesome headquarters in downtown San Francisco, CA. What is a hardware hack you may be asking? Think the nodecopter, or Node Knockout innovation award winner the christmas sweater.

At this point, there are a few free BYOH (Bring Your Own Hardware) spots left, but you can also join the interest list for updates as free spots open up, or buy a $100 hardware kit. Head to Voxer's blog post to learn more and sign up for a spot.
